Dr. Zimmerman grew up in Hood River and appreciated all the beauty and fun that the area has to offer. She graduated from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon, with a degree in biology. This diverse degree allowed her to work in the natural resources research field across the NW and BC, Canada. She went on to medical school at National College of Natural Medicine the nation’s oldest and finest naturopathic school and graduated in 2006. Dr. Zimmerman was one of two graduates selected from her class to complete a two-year clinical residency at the renowned Bastyr Center for Natural Health in Seattle, Washington. She has since returned to the beautiful Columbia River Gorge to practice medicine and raise her own family in this wonderful place.
